Tour Itinery

  • DAY 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

    Our representative will pick you up at the international airport and drive you to the hotel. After then you will take a meandering evening walk with your guide through Kathmandu’s heritage sites, and get acquainted with one another over dinner together.

  • DAY 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola 750 m 6-7 Hrs

    Follow the river Budhi Gandaki toward its point of origin. We pass the village of Morder and Simre to reach Arkhat river. After Arkhat we ascend slowly toward Kyoropani. Camp today near the confluence of Seti river – an ideal place to take a fresh water bath.

  • DAY 3: Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola 890 m 6-7 Hrs

    The trail descends slowly until you climb again to mountain ridge to Almara. Pass the forest trail to arrive at Riden Gaon. The valley here cuts into another side of the river to enter Budhi Gandaki. At Lambesi, the trail follows down to the sandy river bed of Budhi Gandaki. Camp tonight at Machha river.

  • DAY 4: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat 1350 m 6-7 Hrs

    Cross Machha river and head upstream along the river’s edge. After crossing Khola besi, there is a hot spring called “Tatopani”. The trail follows forested area after this toward Doban. Below Doban, there is a huge rapid at Budhi Gandaki. As the elevation increases, the rapids and the scenery undergoes a complete trasformation. At Jagat, there is a police check-post where your trekking permit will be checked.

  • DAY 5: Trek from Jagat to Pewa or Deng (1860 m)

    Descend to the riverbed again. After crossing the river, ascend to a terraced hill of Saguleri. Sringi Himal (7177 m.) can be seen from here. At Ghatte river, cross the river Budhi Gandaki to continue toward Sirish Gaon. Gandaki valley narrows from herewith soaring precipitous walls.

  • DAY 6: Trek from Pewa/Ghap to Lho (3180 m)

  • DAY 7: Trek from Lho to Sama village.

    Trek from Lho Village to Sama Gaun (3780m),which takes about seven hours and over night in the camp. Rest day at Sama Village for acclimatization.

  • DAY 8: Sama Village Excursion.

    Rest day at Sama Village for acclimatization.

  • DAY 9: Trek from Sama Village to Manaslu Base Camp (4800m)

    Early in the morning, we follow trail through forest before steep ascent to a slope and to a moraine. There is magnificent view of glacier, a turquoise lake and wonderful mountains from all angles. Trekking to Manaslu Base Camp takes approximately 4-5 hours.

  • DAY 10: Trek from Base camp to Sama village

    Descending back to Samagaon takes around 2-3 hrs. From Base Camp there is shorter trekking trail to Pungyen Gompa and icy lake, Birendra Tal. Walking through forest area before you reach ridge and grassy plateau. Here you will explore a gompa which was destroyed by the flood in 1953. Continue the trail to get to icy water of Birendra Tal which is situated at base of the glacier, and if you’re brave enough take a dip into the lake. Return to Sama village (Gaun).

  • DAY 11: Trek from Sama (Gaun) to Namrung (2630 m)

  • DAY 12: Trek from Namrung to Philim village.(1570 m)

  • DAY 13: Trek from Philim to Machhakhola (859 m)

  • DAY 14: Trek from Machhakhola to Soti Khola.

  • DAY 15: Drive from Soti Khola to Pokhara.

  • DAY 16: Relax

  • DAY 17: Fly to Kathmandu. Shopping, Dinner in Typical Nepali Restaurant.

  • DAY 18: International Departure.
